Following The Manila Times report that singer Iñigo Pascual now holds the record as the first Filipino singer to top the first-ever Bill Board Philippines Hot 100, kudos goes to Ed Sheeran who commanded the No. 1 spot overall with “Shape of You.”
Besides Sheeran from the international scene, Bruno Mars and The Chainsmokers each placed a pair of tracks each in the Top 10. Also occupying spaces in the Hot 100 top 10 are DJ Khaled’s “I’m the One,” featuring Justin Bieber, Quavo, Chance the Rapper & Lil Wayne, at No. 3, and the current Billboard Hot 100 U.S. No. 1 hit “Despacito,” by Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee featuring Justin Bieber, at No. 5.
