EXPERT Global Solutions (EGS) and Barclaycard US, the payments business of Barclays in the United States, launched their expanded strategic partnership.
“Barclaycard is a world-class brand and we are thrilled to be launching our relationship. Teams around the world have been working together to prepare for this day and we’re confident in our ability to deliver exceptional service to their customers at our flagship site in Manila,” EGS President and Chief Executive Bob Segert said. EGS is the holding company of APAC Customer Services Inc. and NCO Financial Systems Inc.
EGS and Barclaycard announced their strategic partnership in May. Since that time, the companies have been working together to recruit, train, and prepare staff to begin servicing Barclaycard customers.
EGS opened the Centris building, its state-of-the-art headquarters in Metro Manila, in June this year. When at capacity, EGS Centris will be home to more than 6,000 EGS employees.

Their satisfaction with the work environment is reflected in the exceptional service we deliver to our customers,” Bong Borja, EGS Philippines president and country head said.
“Delivering an extraordinary customer experience is at the core of the equation for both EGS and Barclaycard,” Borja added.
When at capacity, Barclaycard expects to have more than 700 employees exclusively providing service to their customers from EGS Centris, Barclaycard’s Center of Excellence for operations in the Philippines.
