Members of the shadow dance group El Gamma Penumbra, the newly crowned grand champion of the very first Asia’s Got Talent, were warmly welcomed by cheering Batangueños as their motorcade went around Tanauan City on Saturday.
In a press conference following the parade, the group promised to build two homes for the aged in the cities of Tanauan and Lipa.
With their cash prize of $100,000 (about P4.3 million), El Gamma Penumbra members also bared plans to establish a shadow dance school to encourage the youth to develop their talent and stay away from drugs.
They also want to start a foundation to provide assistance to the elderly who are in charity homes, and to train kids gifted with the talent of singing and dancing.
El Gamma Penumbra members told their provincemates that they have prepared well for Asia’s Got Talent. “We have a lot of routines enough to fill a one-hour show.”
El Gamma Penumbra members and their respective parents took the occasion to thank their countrymen, not only in Batangas but all over Asia, for their votes that catapulted the group to become the very first grand champion of Asia’s Got Talent, dubbed as the biggest talent show in the world.
