A MAN was killed after he was hit by two vehicles while biking in Nabua, Camarines Sur on October 3. Reports reaching the Philippine National Police operations center in Camp Crame identified the victim as 72-year-old Julian Olivares of Zone 6, Bagong Sikat, Paloyon proper in Nabua. Provincial Police Chief Senior Supt. Primo Golingay said Olivares was biking at about 8: 45 a.m. along the national highway in Barangay La Opinion when he was hit by a black Nissan Cefiro (WRZ-539) driven by a certain Annalyn Perea, 36 of Barriada, Legazpi City. The elderly was again struck by a Toyota Vios (WKQ139) driven by Joseph Abellano, 32 of Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila. Olivares was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment and was transferred to Sta. Maria Josefa Hospital in Iriga City where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
