The Electric Vehicle Association of the Philippines (EVAP) recently announced the appointment of Atty. Leonido “Bodie” Pulido as its new Executive Director. EVAP is the organization of some 50 major electric vehicle industry players in the country. Among its members are EV manufacturers, assemblers, importers, suppliers, distributors, NGOs, the academe and individual enthusiasts.
EVAP President Rommel Juan said that as Executive Director, Atty. Pulido will help craft the policies for the EVAP, formulate strategies and spearhead their implementation. He will also be responsible for making position papers for the association, liaison with concerned government agencies and help push legislation that will benefit the EV industry.
Atty. Pulido is an up-and-coming lawyer well regarded for his skills in the field of litigation. Atty. Pulido started solo practice handling a host of clients both foreign and local.
As a social entrepreneur, he founded the Electric Vehicle Expansion Enterprises, Inc. (EVEE-i) as its President and CEO. EVEE-I is a company that intends to further expand the use of electric vehicles in public and private transportation. Recently, it became Filinvest City Alabang’s exclusive public transport operator for their FC360 EVehicle program, wherein they will be deploying 40 electric jeepneys.
