THE Department of Energy (DoE) is implementing a project on establishing renewable energy (RE) zones to maximize the Philippines’ RE resources, a ranking official said.
On the sidelines of an RE symposium in Quezon City last week, Energy Undersecretary Felix William Fuentebella said the project included identifying RE sources, what the power system can take, and setting the optimal zoning and energy mix for consumers.
