ILOILO CITY: Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Philvolcs) Director Renato Solidum challenged engineers and architects to help people build earthquake-resistant homes as part of their social responsibility to the community. Solidum was the main speaker in the Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council meeting and forum on earthquake, earthquake hazards and pre-paredness at the Iloilo Grand Hotel.
