National Irrigation Administration (NIA) chief Antonio Nangel must have been one of the highest paid officials in government last year. His monthly take home pay, including basic salary, allowances and other benefits, was a staggering P1.5 million.
Nangel, who got a dressing down from President Benigno Aquino 3rd several days ago because of the agency’s poor performance, was kicked out of his post on Tuesday.
