    THE Eastern Police District (EPD) announced on Saturday the arrest of the four most wanted persons in the eastern metropolis through an intensified implementation of “Oplan Lambat-Sibat” and “Bantay-Lahat, Lahat-Bantay” operations over the weekend.

    Senior Supt. Jose Hidalgo, acting police chief of Pasig City, said the number three most wanted person, John Owie Victorino, a resident of Barangay Caniogan, Pasig City, was arrested on March 7 along F. Manalo, Barangay Bambang

    Victorino was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Elma Rafallo-Lingan of Pasig City Regional Trial Court Branch 159 for the crime of murder.
    Meanwhile, the Mandaluyong City police also arrested the number five and number 10 most wanted persons in the city.

    Senior Supt. Joaquin Alva, officer-in-charge of Mandaluyong City police, said the number five most wanted person, identified as Roldan Aquino, was arrested by members of the intelligence branch and warrant and subpoena section of Mandaluyong police on March 7 inside his house at Block 26, Welfareville Compound, Barangay Addition Hills.

    Aquino also arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Carlos Valenzuela of Regional Trial Court Branch 213 for the crime of theft. He was temporarily locked up at a detention facility in Mandaluyong City.

    Also on March 7, members of the intelligence branch of the Mandaluyong police and Lambat-Sibat volunteers of Barangay Highway Hills arrested the 10th most wanted person, Eduardo Alamodin, along Calbayog Street, corner Esteban Street.

    His arrest warrant was issued by Judge Ofelia Calo of Regional Trial Court Branch 211 for violating the election gun ban.

    The EPD’s special operations unit also arrested Angel Herman, a resident of Barangay Tumana, Marikina City.

    Herman was arrested on March 7 along JP Rizal St., Concepcion Uno, Marikina City by virtue of a warrant of arrest for the crime of robbery.
