Renowned chef Hide Yamamoto is officially the newest member of the popular Visa “Epic Dining” program, further boosting Manila’s place as worthy dining destination in the Asian region.
This year more than 30 restaurants have been taken in as featured destinations of Epic Dining. This is an eight-month program that offers gastronomic delights in four stages with rotating establishments to refresh the taste buds.
Yamamoto lent his eponymous restaurant to City of Dreams Manila hosted a special feast to mark the partnership, showcasing his culinary skills, which produced delicious wonders for the sushi menu, and his teppanyaki and robatayaki stations.
Yamamoto has a Global Chef Award from the World Gourmet Summit, an annual epicurean festival that showcases the intricate craftsmanship of prestigious chefs.
Proud to have Hide Yamamoto in their restaurant stable, Stuart Tomlinson, Visa Country Manager for the Philippines and Guam said, “Following the successful programs we ran in previous years, we decided to take this year’s program up a notch so our cardholders can enjoy more exciting, exclusive, and quality dining experiences.”
This year too, the program has been extended to Cebu and includes more exclusive privileges and discounts for Visa cardholders at selected bars and restaurants in these two major cities.
