BRUSSELS: The EU’s trade commissioner defended plans on Wednesday (Thursday in Manila) for an international investment court that could deal with any disputes arising from a massive free trade treaty with the United States.
Sweden’s Cecilia Malmstroem told the European Parliament that members’ concerns over the controversial Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) had been taken fully into account.
