European stocks rise at open; London up 0.25%


LONDON: Europe’s main stock markets rose at the start of trading on Monday, with London’s benchmark FTSE 100 index up 0.25 percent to 6,323.94 points.

Frankfurt’s DAX 30 gained 0.53 percent to 8,170.75 points and in Paris the CAC 40 won 0.32 percent in value to stand at 3,815.69 compared with Friday’s closing levels.
