• Ex-teacher bags P33-M lotto jackpot

A 69-year-old retired school teacher from Cavite province was added to the roster of the country’s instant millionaires after she bagged the P33-million Mega Lotto 6/45 draw of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO).

According to the office of Jose Ferdinand Rojas 2nd, PCSO vice chairman and general manager, the lone bettor chose the winning combination 04-05-13-16-30-39 from birth dates of family members.

Rojas said the bettor, who has been betting in lotto for 15 years, only put in P20 to win the jackpot prize.

The winner, he added, plans to donate to charity organizations, invest in business and help her siblings.

Rojas congratulated the winner as he handed the prize check to her at the national lottery main office in Mandaluyong City (Metro Manila) on Monday.

    1. My heartfelt congratulations to the teacher for her luck after trying for fifteen years. I hope I could be one like her because I have already lost so much and have never got a win but always a loser. It is about time I should also be given a break after many years of betting and so much money contributed to the lucky winners. Oh Lord! When will I make it? Please grant me soon Thank you.
