The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said on Saturday that cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms is expected to prevail over the Bicol region, the Eastern Visayas, Caraga and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon.
According to PAGASA, the northeast monsoon continues to affect Northern and Central Luzon.
It added that Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated light rains while rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
The temperature in Metro Manila will range 22-33 degrees Celsius for Saturday.
PAGASA also said that moderate to strong winds from the northeast will prevail over Luzon and coming from the east to northeast over Eastern Visayas and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough.
Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate blowing from the east to northeast with slight to moderate seas
The state weather bureau also issued gale warning as strong to gale-force winds associated with the northeast monsoon, will affect the seaboards of Northern Luzon and the eastern seaboards of Central and Southern Luzon.
“Fishing boats and other small seacrafts are advised not to venture out into the sea while larger sea vessels are alerted against big waves,” it warned. PNA
