DOT terminates contract with McCann. McCann says “What an Experience.”

Ad firm seeks ‘sensible resolution’ of flap. The status now of the Department of Tourism and McCann Worldgroup Philippines: “It’s complicated.” Likes and dislikes to follow.

DOT wants MaCann to apologize. McCann is maybe contemplating to apologize for having DOT as a client. We want both to apologize for taking us for that short ride.

McCann claims that it has not received a formal communication from the DOT about the termination of their contract. However, one thing is sure: payment will be formally terminated without communication as well.

Max’s Chicken opens first food truck in Vancouver. I don’t think they will change the slogan to “The Truck that Fried Chicken Built.”

Life cycle – one who is employed yearns for retirement. Once retired, one looks for things to do.

One good thing about being retired is that you don’t have to go to work and not marked as absent. The downside is that you’re not allowed to have a day off because you are not employed.

Can anyone send me the right emoticon for the word “biased?” Pleases refrain from sending media corporate logos.

To fight for what is right is normal. To fight for what is wrong is the opposite.

Unlicritics, unlibashers, unli-epals, unliliars, unlicorrupts are more hazardous to one’s health. Certainly not Benham Rice.

Somebody said beer is one of the greatest invention of mankind. Another said it’s the wheel. But another said the wheel is not good to drink with pizza.

Public service is much like a Jobs Fair. There is always a lot of mismatch.

I really don’t see the point of taking selfies on hospital beds, posting it on Facebook with all the medical contraptions attached to the patient. Is this being made to encourage visitors, solicit concern or pity, elicit ‘get well soon’ comments or promote antivirus apps? Just wondering.

So much fuzz about the health of PRRD regarding his disappearance for days. Whether he is sick or not or just resting is not the question. It is just a confirmation that his critics are immune to fatigue.

A tree tells the story of the universe and its glory. It listens to birds chirping, basks in the sun, dances with the clouds, sways with the kisses of a wind-blow, sheds tears with rain and offers a safe sanctuary for the living. How I wish that humankind will share the same story and experience the same glory.

The real gauge of a true Philippine Ambassador is not being seen with other diplomats in black ties and gowns during cocktails and ribbon cutting events. I would rather see them open their doors to Filipino migrants and workers and listen to their woes, share fun moments, and resolute in finding solutions to help them fulfill their dreams safely in a foreign soil. That for me is being true to their calling, being an extension of a President who would always want to take care of his people at any given time and place.

One cannot learn ignorance. Learning how to discard it is knowledge.

Lawmakers from the opposition the other day urged Malacañang to come out with an official statement regarding the true health of Mr. Duterte. I believe that his recent heavy schedule is the main culprit considering his age of 72. To be fair, the public wants to challenge all lawmakers to declare if they are all in spotless health condition.

Great Britain is the subject of recent misfortunes and you can say again that adage “when it rains, it pours.” After the Manchester Arena suicide bombing incident, London bridge terror attack, and now the deadly fire in the Grenfell House, the country is on edge after holding an election that brought political uncertainties. No one is immune to tragedies. I just wonder if the great legend Louis Armstrong will sing that song “What A Wonderful World” with the same celebratory emotion.

At least five dead, 19 injured as truck rams into homes in Taytay. They were mostly bystanders and pedestrians were injured after a trailer carrying a container van crashed into stores near a tricycle terminal in Taytay, Rizal Saturday morning.

Do not worry. This is not a terrorist act (or is it?) The truck just lost its brakes.

    Funny Quotes on Father’s Day:
“When you’re young, you think your dad is Superman. Then you grow up, and you realize he’s just a regular guy who wears a cape.”
    – Dave Attell

“Father’s Day is important because, besides being the day on which we honor Dad, it’s the one day of the year that Brookstone does any business.”
    – Jimmy Fallon
