0

THE Department of Education (DepEd) said on Tuesday that it may extend the school hours in areas affected by Super Typhoon Yolanda to allow students to catch up with the school calendar. DepEd Assistant Secretary Jesus Mateo said the department is also considering on Saturday classes as another option. Mateo said they are open to letting parents and school administrators reach an agreement on what arrangements to take so the children can catch up with the school calendar.
