TEST DRIVE FESTIVAL LIKE NO OTHER
IT will be a grand and unique test drive experience for prospective car buyers and motoring enthusiasts as 14 carmakers and distributors gather for the “2014 Auto Focus Pre Christmas Test Drive Festival” to be held November 6-9, 2014 at the huge open concert grounds at Block 12 of the SM Mall of Asia. Free test drives will be offered to qualified motorists who can select their preferred models from a wide, multi-brand roster that will include BAIC, BYD, Chevrolet, Ford, Honda, Hyundai, Isuzu, Lexus, Mazda, Mitsubishi, MINI, Nissan, Peugeot, Toyota and Volkswagen.

“It will be a veritable one-stop shop for those looking to buy a new car,” said Butch Gamboa, Chairman and CEO of Sunshine Television (STV), organizer of this motoring event that’s eagerly awaited by the local auto industry. “This time of year is considered by the automobile industry as a peak car buying season. We believe it would be of service and benefit to both the industry and the car-buying public to have a wide array of models available to test drive and ride in just a single venue. People can drive and compare their various cars of preference, and furthermore, review the best deals and offers they can get. Saves them the usual grind of having to travel around from one dealer or another. It’ll practically all be here for them to have a look at and choose.”

The “2014 Auto Focus Pre Christmas Test Drive Festival” is STV’s second such event this year and follows through from the “2014 Auto Focus Summer Test Drive Festival” held at the same venue last April.

“The auto manufacturers and distributors strongly encourage their prospects to test, feel and examine before anyone makes that final decision to buy a particular car model. Further to this, they also try to give you the best, most affordable offer they can. One of the best ways for that prospect to avail of these is to come to an event such as this.” added Gamboa.

The four-day test drive festival will open daily at 11:00 AM and will accommodate visitors until 9:00 PM. Drivers can opt to test any models’ performance features and capabilities at two on-site test drive courses that will be situated within the venue. Admission is free, and so are the test drives.
