Most of the country will have fair weather today. Mindanao will be cloudy or rainy due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ).
In its morning forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said fair weather will prevail for the next two to three days as the southwest monsoon or hanging habagat weakens.
Luzon including Metro Manila will have sunny to partly cloudy skies with possible passing rains in the afternoon or evening due to localized thunderstorms or convections.
The ITCZ will bring light to moderate showers and thunderstorms over Bicol, Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan and Visayas.
The weather agency is also monitoring a cloud cluster over eastern Mindanao that has a high chance of becoming a low pressure area (LPA) before the weekend.
