Generally fair weather was forecast in most parts of the country except in extreme northern Luzon with the effects of weak Northeast Monsoon or “hangin amihan” which continues to be the dominant weather system, according to thevPhilippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Wednesday.
In its forecast, the whole archipelago will experience partly cloudy to at times cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
Light to moderate winds coming from the east to northeast will prevail over Northern and Central Luzon and from the northeast over the rest of the country.
The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate.
In an interview, PAGASA weather forecaster Samuel Duran said the country will remain storm-free in the next three days.
Duran said the agency has not seen any weather disturbance near the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) that may develop into tropical cyclone within the next three days.
It also expects zero to one tropical cyclone to affect the country this month. PNA
