Fair weather seen in most parts of PHL except N. Luzon

Most parts of the country will experience fair weather except Northern Luzon due to light rains cause by northeast monsoon or “hanging amihan,” the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said in Saturday.

In its advisory, PAGASA said the entire archipelago will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies, with the Cagayan Valley, Cordillera and Ilocos regions having light rains.

It added that the rest of the country, including Metro Manila, will have sunny to partly cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

According to PAGASA’s extended outlook, Metro Manila will remain partly cloudy to cloudy, with isolated rain until Tuesday.

PAGASA also said that moderate to strong winds from the northeast will prevail over northern Luzon and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

Elsewhere, it said winds will be light to moderate coming from the northeast with slight to moderate seas. PNA
