Most parts of country including Metro Manila will continue to experience generally fair weather in the next three days, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said on Wednesday.
In an interview, PAGASA weather forecaster Aldczar Aurelio said that no weather disturbance is seen near the country’s area of responsibility.
Until Friday, he said Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon and Visayas will have fair weather with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon, while Mindanao will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains and thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, Aurelio said temperatures are expected to cool towards the weekend as the northeast monsoon is predicted to slightly intensify.
In its advisory, PAGASA said that moderate to occasionally strong winds blowing from the northeast to north will prevail over the eastern sections of Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
The coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to occasionally rough.
Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the northeast with slight to moderate seas. PNA
