Fake narcotics agent falls in La Union


SAN FERNANDO CITY, La Union: A drug-pushing woman posing as an anti-narcotics agent who was allegedly asking for protection money from fellow pushers was arrested by the San Fernando City Police anti-drugs operatives in a sting operation in Barangay Biday on August 24, PSupt. Julius Suriben said. The suspect was identified as Jaqueline Flores alias “Jacky”, who denied collecting protection money. Meanwhile, two people were caught for illegal drugs in Purok 5, Barangay Mameltac. The suspects were identified as Jeremias Sobejana alias “Rocky” and Mia Joy Gonzales of Barangay Pagdalagan Norte. The two are in La Union’s drug personalities list. Sobejana was arrested and released in 2011 while Gonzales was freed only this year for lack of evidence.
