This April, Museo Pambata (MP) is inviting families to enjoy art, learn about saving our planet, and spend time bonding in the country’s premier children’s interactive museum.
Make this summer a productive one by learning a new skill. Aside from art classes for kids, MP is also offering tandem classes for two family members, like printmaking, serigraphy, crafts for families, and family art. Classes begin on April 11.
Saving the planet should be a family effort. Celebrate Earth Day by gathering the whole family to learn more about environmental conservation through workshops, discussions, activities, games, and more in “My Family Loves Planet Earth” from April 22 to 25.
Enjoy participating in Museo Pambata’s regular programs: morning storytelling sessions (every 2nd and 4th Saturday), arts and crafts with the museum guides (April 5 and 19, 2:30 p.m.), and a folk dance performance by the Bayanihan Philippine National Folk Dance Company (April 25, 10 a.m.).
Museo Pambata is located at Roxas Boulevard corner South Drive, Manila. Museum hours from Tueday to Saturday are 9 AM to 5 PM (closed for lunch from 12 NN to 1 PM) and 1 to 5 PM during Sundays. All activities are free with the admission fee of P150 (for both children and adults). Manila residents with valid IDs may come in for free during Tuesdays and avail of a 50 percent discount on other days.
