FIVE members of a Taiwanese family were found dead inside their home in Greenhills, San Juan City on Saturday morning.
San Juan City police chief Supt. Ariel Arcinas identified the victims as Luis Hsieh, 50, his wife Roxanne, 53 and their children Amanda, 18, Jeffery, 13 and John, 12.
Arcinas said the victims’ bodies were found at about 9:30 a.m. inside the master’s bedroom in the Midland Park Manor Condominium along Ortigas Avenue corner Madison Street in Greenhills. Their faces were wrapped in transparent plastic.
Arcinas said the Hsieh family was having financial problems based on the suicide notes found near the kitchen sink.
The letters were addressed to the subdivision’s administrators and to a neighbor. They also indicated the family’s request for their remains to be cremated.
Arcinas said the bodies were brought to the crime laboratory in Camp Crame for autopsy.
