LONDON: Britain’s double Olympic champion Mo Farah lost out to American Garrett Heath at the Great Edinburgh International cross-country race on Saturday (Sunday in Manila) as he started 2016 with a runners-up finish.
The 32-year-old, who will defend his 5,000 and 10,000 meters titles at the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro later this year, finished two seconds behind Heath, who completed the eight-kilometer course in 25 minutes and 29 seconds.
