ZAMBOANGA CITY: Police said a farmer was stabbed dead with three of his fingers cut off when his body was found in a village in the town of Sindangan in Zamboanga del Norte. Ronilo Ansono, 41, was last seen alive together with Tindong Lumulan, who fetched the victim from his house in the village of Bato. Ansono’s family said Lumulan asked the victim to help him take his ailing mother to the hospital. Village watchmen discovered Ansono’s body several blocks away from his house.
