ILIGAN CITY: A female drug den owner and her 10 visitors were arrested by elements of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) during a buy-bust operation last March 13, 2014. PDEA Director General Undersecretary Arturo Cacdac Jr. said that the suspect, Reyna Dacula, 39 years old, used her home in Purok 5, Saray, Iligan City, to sell and use drugs. The other owner of the den, a certain Julius Bitara, remains at large. The visitors were identified as Luis Baloncio, 27; Jorien Dacula, 20; Carlos Macalyag, 35; Jun Rey Baroy, 29; Rey Timkang, 30; Jason Iglesias, 18; Roly Ornopia, 32; Archie Relacion, 33; Jonathan Paner, 22; and a 17-year-old minor. At around 2:15 p.m., operatives of the PDEA Regional Office 10 under the direct supervision of Director Emerson Margate arrested Dacula after she sold two plastic sachets of shabu to a poseur-buyer. Found in her home were 19 plastic sachets of shabu worth P8,750 and several drug paraphernalia.
