The sartorial world has had a cause for celebration as Fendi joined the ranks of Rustan’s Department Store’s impressive roster of global brands.

Metro Manila’s well-heeled set got together for a fashion night out on September 16, at the grand foyer of Rustan’s Shangri-La, where the first ever standalone Fendi boutique in the Philippines stands.

Together with the launch of the boutique, Fendi presented the Pre-Fall 2015 collection in a beautiful art-gallery setting.

A stunning exhibit of Mini Karlito keychains and three different models of 2Jours, all encased in glass vitrines, lined the black-carpeted walkway to the store as though they were valuable museum pieces.

The display cases were covered in a colorful grid of Post-it notes, taking after the brand’s bold Post-it inspired windows this season. As guests entered the illuminated 72 square-meter boutique, there was an immediate feeling of luxury radiating from its sleek and elegant interior design, which perfectly accentuated the brand’s exquisitely-crafted handbags and accessories.

In attendance were fashion aficionados Teresa Herrera, Bea Soriano, Angel Jacob, Laureen Uy, and Camille Co.

In a sprawling black number, host and revered model Sarah Meier opened the program. She proudly announced the unveiling of the newest Fendi pieces of the season, as models adorned in Fendi from head to toe walked centerstage.

The night closed with sumptuous hors d’oeuvres, electric beats, and a renewed reverie for the timeless icons Fendi has created.

Guests happily went home with a purchase or two of their choice of artisan bags, and everyone walked away with charming Karlito flash drives as giveaways.

With the success of the event, the shelves gave way for more room in the boutique, as a new collection will also be coming out by mid-October to November.
