MIAMI: Feng Shanshan of China produced a barnstorming finish to take a one-shot lead after the first round of the LPGA Tour Championship on Thursday (Friday in Manila) with a six-under-par 66 in Florida.
The big-hitting 27-year-old from Guangzhou carded four birdies over the final six holes to pull clear of the field after a low-scoring first day at the Tiburon Golf Club in Naples.
