A female fetus was found in a trashcan in a women’s restrooms of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 on Friday. Authorities said the fetus, about six months old, was discovered by a janitress Elvira Dejon at the terminal’s CR-303, near boarding gate 118. An MIAA medical team said the fetus, placed on top of the trash can was still fresh when they responded. MIAA Asst. General Manager for Security and Emergency Services Jesus Descanzo, the mother might have suffered a “miscarriage” while waiting for her flight either for Dumaguete or Roxas City at about 9:26 a.m. The Pasay City police are conducting an investigation on the case while the Police Aviation Security Group are seeking the assistance of anyone who may know the identity of the mother.
