Far Eastern University (FEU) and Outkast FC will clash in the opening match of the Philippine Football Federation (PFF) Women’s League at the Rizal Memorial Football Stadium at 2 p.m. today.
Defending champion FEU is riding a winning momentum following its successful stint in the recent Pilipinas Cup late last month.
On the other hand, Outkast will be relying on its deep bench of former University Athletic Association of the Philippines standouts as they challenge the champion.
In the 4 p.m. second match, University of Santo Tomas (UST) takes on Fuego Espana FC.
This year’s PFF Women’s League will be featuring a longer contest that will be played in a double round league format, which will run until July next year.
A total of 11 teams will be competing in the third edition of the tourney including five collegiate varsity teams and six domestic clubs from the National Capital Region.
