FAR Eastern University (FEU) standout Terrence Romeo is currently no.1 in the points and steals department of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) men’s basketball Season 76 after nine games.
The flamboyant guard Ro-meo, who is responsible for the Tamaraws’ 7-0 sweep in the first round, has averaged 19.8 points per game followed by University of the East’s point guard Shej Roi Sumang with 19.1 points per game.
National University forward Bobby Ray Parks and Emmanuel Mbe are in third and fourth place with 17. 2 and 16.8 points per game average, while Adamson’s guard Jericho Cruz and La Salle’s Almond Vosotros posted 15.9 and 15.0 points per game average.
Romeo topped the steals category with 1.6 per game average, followed by University of Santo Tomas’ Cameroonian center Karim Abdul with 1.3 and Romeo’s teammate Ryan Roose Garcia with 1.2 steals per game.
Vosotros topped the league’s three-points tally with 25, while University of the Philippines’ Joseph Marata and Romeo notched 22 each.
UE’s Charles Mammie leads in the rebounding category with 17.4 per game, while Mbe has 11.6 and Abdul 11.5. Joshua Alolino of NU is No. 1 in the assists department with 5.0 per game while Sumang and Parks both tallied 4.8 and 4.2 assists per game.
Adamson’s John Rodney Brondial topped the blocks department with 1.7 per game, while Abdul occupies second spot with 1.5.
