Reigning champion UP will be leading the all-University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) cast in the Final Four round of the competition.

The Fighting Maroons emerge as the top seed with a record of seven wins, a draw and a loss after the elimination round

In their previous game, UP was able to escape National Collegiate Athletic Association top club San Beda College, 1-0, through the lone strike of JB Borlongan.

The Growling Tigers, on the other hand, finished the preliminary round of the tourney with four victories, two draws and three defeats.

UST was held to a 2-2 draw by fellow UAAP team University of the East last November 20.

Last year’s UAAP runner-up Ateneo De Manila University will meet National University in the second semifinals match-up at 10 a.m.
