• Filinvest eyes P6 billion from Alabang project

The Filinvest Group of Companies is eyeing P6-billion worth of sales from the recently launched three-tower residential development project of one of its business units, Filinvest Alabang Inc. (FAI).

Josephine Gotianun Yap, Filinvest Group president and chief executive officer, said during the launch of Botanika Nature Residences, a high-end residential project of FAI in Alabang, that the group is expecting to generate sales value of P6 billion from the entire development.

“As for the sales value in total of the three towers, in today’s value, it is around P6 billion,” Yap said.

Catherine Ilagan, an executive vice president in the Filinvest Group, said the price of the units in Botanika Residences is P18.2 million and above.

According to her, the preselling is ongoing for the units of Tower 1, which will be turned over to clients in the third quarter of 2017, while the masterplanning for towers two and three is ongoing.

Meanwhile, Yap mentioned during the briefing that the company will launch more developments, one of which will be introduced by the end of this year.

“We have lots of other developments. The launching will be late this year for another segment of the market, also in a very prime location near Festival Supermall,” she said.

“We are embarking on a masterplan review of Filinvest City. We are looking at nice enhancements you will see later on,” Ilagan added.

Botanika Nature Residences is the maiden project of the Filinvest group under the “Exclusive Collection Brand,” which includes only “super high-end” developments.

“It’s more of a niche play. It caters to the AAA, very high-end segment of the market,” Yap said.

“We expect as well that even in other areas of Metro Manila and Philippines. We will be launching a handful of exclusive collections. There will be one we are currently conceptualizing,” she added, noting that the company will only have limited projects under the brand every year.
