The flavorful and diverse Philippine cuisine is a product of different gastornomic influences molded into something tastefully unique.
In recognition of this and as part of the recently launched Flavors of the Philippines campaign of the Department of Tourism, Pan Pacific Manila makes its diners experience regional cuisine for the whole month of April at the Pacific Lounge.
On its fist week, the food promotion featured the best of Northern and Central Luzon cuisine like Vigan Pinakbet, Adobong Tarlac, Humba Pampanga, Bringhe. Next week, southern Luzon cuisine will take spotlight with dishes like Crab Relleno, Chicken with Coconut Cream and Papaya, Steamed Maliputo, and Jardinera.
For the third week are Bicolano signatures dishes including Bicol Express, Fish Escabeche de Masbate, Dinuguan Albay, and Ginataang Langka.
Last but not the least are Visayan and Mindanao specialties like Kinamunggayang Manok, Linat-an, Ohong Guisado and Baka Tula-sog.
