The Philippine under-14 national football team registered their second win in the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) U14 regional football festival after slipping past Myanmar, 2-0, at the Berakas Sports Complex in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei on Friday.
The team had a tough schedule for their second day in the competition as they were scheduled to meet two foes in the same day.
In the morning, the Filipinos incurred their first loss in the competition through the hands of their counterparts from Timor Leste, 4-2.
Despite a negative start to their second match date, the Filipinos came back strong as they met the Burmese team in the afternoon.
After a slow start in the first half, the Little Azkals came to life in the final half as Sky Guerrero and Hans Soldevilla found the back of the net in quick succession to clinch their second win in the contest.
