ILOILO CITY: A German firm based in Mandurriao, Iloilo City, is proposing a 10-day business and pleasure trip to Germany for local businessmen and industrialists to study and observe the operation of German factories producing noted brands. The trip will include stops at famous landmarks and tourist spots in Germany. General Manager Heinz Dieter Bender of 168 YelloBill Consulting and Service Agency is extending the invitation to all Philippine business owners and industrialists as part of the company’s efforts to showcase the German quality products and German quality workmanship. Bender said the trip is initially scheduled for the first quarter of 2016. International businessmen, including members of the local business sector, have just concluded their participation to the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum in Iloilo City and Bender said they may be enthusiastic to study and learn more about quality products from Germany. A travel schedule showed that participants will start the trip from the Iloilo International Airport to Singapore with German tour guides fluent in Ilonggo, Tagalog, English and German. They participants will be in transit in Singapore where they will board Lufthansa Airlines to Frankfurt International Airport (Fraport) where a Mercedez Benz minivan will transport them production facilities.
