• Firms’ Help Sought For Rehab Master Plan


    To expedite the reconstruction of areas badly hit by typhoon Yolanda, private firms should help in drafting the rehabilitation master plan. This was the call aired by the organization, Habitat for Humanity, after the Office of the Presidential Assistant for Rehabilitation and Recovery reported that the government has yet to come up with a master plan to rehabilitate areas affected by Yolanda. Charlito Ayco, chief executive officer and managing director of Habitat for Humanity, said there is a resounding gap on the capacity of some local government units to come up with their own master plan.
