Love comes both from humans and pets

“I love him even if he doesn’t like marshmallows. The best thing though is that mom and dad like him,” the girl named Maya declares.

She then experiences heartbreak when her friend leaves without saying goodbye. Feeling lost and forlorn, she seeks the company of people she loves, whose support encourages her to embrace her pain as part of life’s journey.

The movie finally reveals that Maya’s first love was an adorable neighborhood dog and that her parents gave her one as adorable as her lost love.

Despite a new love to call her own, she says she has fond memories of her first love, “I’ll always remember him even if our time together was too short, I’m thankful that I met him,” she says.

The short film, posted by real estate development company Amaia Scapes, Maya is portrayed by Elia Ilano and her parents are characterized by Wilson Clemente and Kristina Bascon.
