Flights to and from Davao cancelled due to inclement weather

Bad weather brought by Typhoon “Ineng” prompted the cancellation of two flights to and from Davao on Saturday morning, the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) said in an advisory.

MIAA said that among flights cancelled include 5J 961 (Manila-Davao), and 5J 962 (Davao-Manila).
These flights both belong to low-cost carrier Cebu Pacific.

State-run weather bureau PAGASA earlier predicted partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated thunderstorms to prevail over Eastern Visayas and Mindanao, where Davao is located.

PAGASA also said stormy weather will prevail over Batanes, Ilocos Norte, Apayao and Cagayan including Calayan and Babuyan Group of Islands while rains with gusty winds over the provinces Isabela, Kalinga, Mt. Province, Abra and Ilocos Sur. PNA
