TROPICAL storm “Florita” (international name: Prapiroon) intensified into a severe tropical storm as it moved north-nothwestward over the Philippine Sea on Sunday morning.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said in its bulletin that Florita was 695 kilometers (km) northeast of Basco, Batanes as of 11 a.m.
