Food, agribusiness meet slated July 10


The Center for Food and Agri Business (CFA) will hold its Mid-Year Food and Agri Business Conference on July 10, from 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the University of Asia and the Pacific (UA&P), Pasig City.

The event, “Philippine Food and Agribusiness: Challenges and Responses for a Changing World,” will present industry performances of select commodities, key issues and challenges, plus outlook and strategies for the future.

The conference will help managers, investors, planners and policy makers make informed judgments on strategies, decisions and policies for the sector.

Speakers include Francis Pangilinan, presidential assistant on Food Security and Agriculture Modernization; Dr. Rolando Dy, executive director of UA&P-CFA; Dr. Henry Lim Bon Liong, chief executive officer of SL Agritech Corporation; lawyer Elias Jose Inciong, president of United Broiler Raisers Association; Philip Ong, president of Santeh Feeds Corp.; and Dominic Serquiña, Product Management Group head of East-West Seed Co. Philippines.
