SAO PAULO: Hospitalized Brazilian football legend Pele is doing better and responding to antibiotics, but still receiving an intensive kidney treatment for a urinary infection, the hospital treating him said Friday (Saturday in Manila).
The 74-year-old star is "in improving clinical condition and continues receiving treatment in the intensive care unit," said the Albert Einstein Hospital in Sao Paulo, in its second update of the day.
