FORD Phils. announced it had partnered with Fondo Manila in a road cycling event called Northern Expedition where 40 professional and leisure cyclists went on a two-day ride. The route covered 80 kilometers of the Halsema Highway, the highest elevation in the Philippine highway system at 7,400 meters, and a 70-kilometer stretch of Ambuklao Road near Baguio City.
Ford said three Ford EcoSports were used as support vehicles during the journey.
