A NUMBER OF foreign manufacturers making industrial equipment and machinery are expected to set up production plants in the Philippines as they have become attracted to the improved economic condition of the country, the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) said.

They will come from, it said, Japan, the United States, South Korea, Singapore, Britain, Germany, the Netherlands and Taiwan.
