• Foreigner nabbed for possession of ammunitions


    SECURITY forces on Wednesday nabbed a Chinese-American for possession of ammunitions and explosives in Barangay 5, San Francisco, Agusan del Sur.

    The Philippine National Police said Jennifer Wen Ku, 56, was arrested by joint police operatives of San Francisco and Criminal Investigation and Detection Group on a search warrant issued by Judge Hector Salise of the Bayugan City Regional Trial Court Branch 7.

    Seized from Ku were 12 rolls of detonating cords, a magazine for 9mm pistol; 200 empty shells for .45 caliber pistol; 48 live ammunition for caliber .45 pistol and a sack of ammonium nitrate.

    The Chinese-American is now detained at the San Francisco Municipal Police station and is undergoing investigation.
