Former bank employee nabbed for stealing P29m

A FORMER employee, who reportedly stole P29 million from the Philippine Veterans Bank (PVB), was arrested on Wednesday by police operatives after a year-long manhunt operation, said Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) Director Chief Supt. Victor Deona. He identified the suspect as Arthur Gadon, who was arrested by virtue of a warrant for two counts of qualified theft issued by the Judge Mona Lisa Tiongson-Tabora of the Regional Trial Court Branch 21 of Manila. Deona said Gadon was the Bank Cashier Supervisor of PVB Makati City branch. He is detained at the CIDG in Cavite pending his turn-over to the court.

  1. Good police work. CIDG should be given a cash reward by PVB – to be shared by the police officers who did the sleuthing and the arrest. Let us publish a commendatory short article on the names of the policemen.
