A FORMER policeman wanted for a series of ‘hulidap’ operations in Malate, Manila was arrested on Monday. Chief Insp. Eugenio Extramadura led three police officers arrested PO1 Vincent Paul Extramadura by virtue of a warrant issued by a Makati City court. Medina and his gang was allegedly responsible for a series of robbery victimizing foreigners. Meanwhile, buy-and-sell businessman Ivan Matanon of Tondo, Manila lost a gold necklace worth P100,000, P20,000 cash and two smart cellular phones worth P30,000 each to two robbers on a motorcycle. Matanon, 48, said he was eating at Atoy’s Grill restaurant along Tomas Morato corner Alvarez Street in Sta. Cruz when the suspects alighted from their motorcycles and barged into the restaurant. The victim also sustained a gun shot wound in his left leg. Police said they will ask for a copy of the closed-circuit television to identify the suspects.
