Four airlines seeking flights to Macau

The operators of Air Philippines Corp., Cebu Pacific Inc., Zest Airways Inc. and Southeast Asian Airlines Inc. (Seair), have filed a petition with the Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB) for additional allocation of entitlements to Macau.

Documents from CAB showed that the three carriers have filled additional entitlements for Macau Special Administrative Region in accordance to the recently concluded confidential memorandum of understanding (CMOU) entered into between the Philippines and Macau on June 6.

Data from CAB detailed the requests are follows: Southeast Asian Airlines (Seair) Inc. (DG), Manila to Macau and vice versa, with frequency of seven times a week and additional 1,260 seats a week using Airbus A319/A320; Zest Airways, Manila to Macau and vice versa, with additional 820 seats a week, using Airbus A320; Cebu Pacific, Manila to Macau and vice versa, with additional of 440 seats a week using Airbus A320; and Air Philippines, Manila to Macau and vice versa with additional 900 seats a week, using Airbus A320.
