On Friday afternoon, four of five police officers of the Manila Police District allegedly involved in the murder of a suspected robber surrendered to MPD Director Chief Supt. Rolando Nana.
The four were Senior Inspector Rommel Salazar, Police Officer 3 Ferdinand Valera, P01 Ronald Dipacina and P01 Diomar Landrito.
The fifth one, PO1 Rhoel Landrito failed to surface but he has sent feelers that he will surrender soon.
The four policemen were fetched somewhere along Recto Avenue.
Nana told The Manila Times that he is waiting for Landrito to turn over himself voluntarily.
“We are waiting, anytime from now,” he said in a text message at 7:20 p.m. Thursday.
On the same day, Nana ordered a manhunt for ainst the five police officers.
